🇺🇸 Honoring Heroes Through Golf: Warrior Golf Academy at the Folds of Honor Veterans Day Tournament
This past weekend, Warrior Golf Academy (WGA) had the incredible honor of attending and participating in the Folds of Honor Veterans Day Tournament — a truly unforgettable event that embodied the spirit of service, unity, and purpose through the game of golf.
From the opening ceremonies to the last putt dropped, the experience was nothing short of inspiring.
🎖 A Weekend of Purpose and Patriotism
Held in celebration of Veterans Day and the 250th Birthday of the United States Marine Corps, the event brought together Veterans, First Responders, golf professionals, and supporters from across the country.
The opening ceremony moved everyone in attendance — from the presentation of the colors to the emotional music and heartfelt speeches, it was a reminder of what service truly means.
Standing among so many who’ve worn the uniform and those who continue to serve their communities through leadership, philanthropy, and golf was something I’ve deeply missed since my time in service.
⛳️ Golf With Purpose: Veterans and Pros Unite
The Folds of Honor Tournament perfectly aligns with WGA’s mission — to connect Veterans and First Responders with professional golf opportunities that build community, confidence, and healing through the game.
Throughout the day, players of all backgrounds — from active-duty military and Veterans to PGA Professionals and business leaders — came together for one shared purpose: to make a difference through golf.
It was a true display of camaraderie, leadership, and passion for the game.

These interactions reminded us how golf has the power to bridge worlds — bringing together legends, Veterans, and new generations in a shared love for competition and community.
💚 The Heart of Folds of Honor
Founded by Lt. Col. Dan Rooney, Folds of Honor provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service members.
This event was more than a tournament — it was a celebration of sacrifice, family, and hope.
Seeing so many people come together to support such a meaningful cause reinforced why partnerships like these matter.
For Warrior Golf Academy, it’s not just about golf — it’s about giving back, one swing at a time.
